Our approach is anti-diet and body neutral. At Beyond Chocolate we provide the tools and support you need so that you can re-learn to trust yourself and your body.
In line with Health at Every Size and iWeigh, we do not make any claims about what defines a healthy body, a healthy weight or a healthy diet, however you define the term 'healthy'.
We do not claim that everyone is healthy at every size, nor that every size is equally healthy.
Beyond Chocolate supports a weight and body neutral, inclusive approach to overall good health and wellbeing.
MEET THE SISTERS
Hello! We are sisters, Sophie (on the left) and Audrey. Beyond Chocolate is the fruit of our determined quest for an alternative to the constant obsession with food and weight loss which clouded the best part of our lives, until our thirties.
We know what it’s like because we’ve been there. We spent years struggling; Sophie, a compulsive dieter and binge eater. Audrey, bulimic, as well as turning to over exercising and diet pills.
READ OUR BOOKS
In our first book, Beyond Chocolate (Piatkus, 2006) we wrote about our own experience as two women who struggled with diets and disordered eating for more than 20 years and outline a set of 10 straight forward, doable principles which, in time, will change your relationship with food forever.
In 2012 we wrote our second book, Beyond Temptation (Piatkus 2012). In it we share everything we know about how to understand your eating and how you use food as a way to cope. The more you know and understand, the more choice and freedom you'll have.
