I did more of the same this week. More walking. More Pilates. I am coming to realise that when it comes to moving (and many things) I like more of the same. When I find something I like, I want it again and again and I’m just not that fussed about variety. When I find a food I like eating I tend to want it over and over again for quite a long time. When I find a pair of jeans or a top I like, I buy two, or three. And when I find a way of moving I enjoy, I just want to keep doing it. I tend to get bored after a while, with all those things, and then I find something new and do that for a while. I am a creature of routine and familiarity. It’s good to know that about myself and it’s a relief to just go with it and know that it’s just fine, that I’m just fine. I expect next week will be more of the same!
